Plotting Developmental Edit

Are you having trouble finishing your book? Are you stuck because you can't figure out the plot? Have no fear! This editing service is a specific type of developmental edit where together we will build your plot from scratch, using any writings, notes, ideas, etc that you already have, and inventing others. I will be with you every step of the way through the writing process as you tackle the zero, first, or second draft of your creative project. I will equip you with tools, tricks, tips, and techniques to help you stay on track and make sure you hit all the right plotting beats for your story. We will untangle what isn't working and find a way out of the maze. We will build a plot structure and/or outline for your story, and along the way, you will learn the 3 ACT plot structure and 8-block story sequence, a technique you'll be able to use again and again on future projects.

This is not a ghostwriting service. The writer is responsible for writing their own book. This edit does not include a full developmental edit of other storytelling elements and is plot-focused only. I do request the writer to use Scrivener or Dabble for this editing service. (Free Trial available). Scrivener or Dabble isn't mandatory, but it is extremely helpful. Note: if you're not sure of the total word count, pricing will be based on 70,000 words.
